Deadline Extended! Young People: Have Your Say about Virtual Employer Experiences

Coronavirus has changed how young people have been learning about jobs and careers. For example, young people might have been used to people coming into school to talk to them about jobs, or doing work experience in person. This year, they’ve probably been doing these things online including having online presentations by employers, working online with mentors and even virtual work experience.

Developing the Young Workforce want to understand what young people thought about online experiences about the world of work – what was good, what didn’t work, and what should be kept once we all get back to normal. This will help us make sure young people have great ways to learn about the world of work.

This survey will only take young people a maximum of 10 minutes to complete. We won’t ask you for personal details like name or address.  Answers won’t be traced back to young people so they can be honest about what they think. The survey can be accessed HERE. The survey closes 4th June 2021.

If you could share this with young people you are connect with who may have experienced virtual employer engagement activity we would be extremely grateful.   We have drafted some text below you can share with young people and some social media messaging that can be used too.

If you want to ask a question about the survey, you can send an email to Jenny at jenny.paisley@rocketsciencelab.co.uk
